Storyline Of A Royal Night Out:
On the Day in 1945, as peace extends crosswise
Europe, Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret are permited out to join the
celebrations. It is a hours of darkness full of excitement, threat and the
first flutters of romance.

I saw A Royal night Out at a sample in Melbourne tonight.
The movie concerns the Princesses Margaret and Elizabeth having a dark out in
London to celebrate Victory in Europe Day in 1945. Queen, played by Emily
Watson manner a remarkable resemblance to the not on time Queen Elizabeth,
firmly forbids the teen sisters to go out but the slightly stammering King
George succumbs to Daddy's girls' insistent and sends them forth with two army
officers chaperoning. I set up these two clowns completely unfunny but there
was laughter in the audience. Unnecessary to say a great deal high jinx ensue,
most of it totally improbable to me but I did enjoy the Glen Miller music and
there were connecting scenes before dawn. Easy entertainment.
