About Dragon Blade:The first Chinese movie to feature Roman as its main topic, Dragon Blade don’t exactly fit the sword- mold; its like more facetious Japanese predecessor Thermae Romae the movie filter class civilization through the cultural perspective of Asian nation. A local family audience, despites watching their fair share of gladiator films, is never seen these genre conventions mash up with Chinese martial arts. Non they have seen many solely Chinese produced films with so extensive participation from Hollywood stars, other than perhaps Zhang Christian Bale starrer Flowers of War.
